About Dr Robin Wei
GP & CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner at Rangeside Medical Centre, Toowoomba.
My approach
I like to help people stay well, not just treat problems as they come up. I want to take the time to explain what's going on, talk through your options, and work with you on a plan that suits your life.
I also keep a close eye on the details, such as how your blood tests and blood pressure are tracking over time, so we can spot changes early and see what's working.
Qualifications and training
Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)
Doctor of Medicine (MD), The University of Queensland
CASA Designated Aviation Medical Examiner (DAME)
Additional training in skin cancer medicine and skin surgery through HealthCert
Clinical interests
Aviation medicine. I provide CASA aviation medical certification for pilots and air traffic controllers across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs.
Skin cancer medicine. Skin checks using dermoscopy, along with biopsies and minor skin procedures.
Chronic disease management. Long-term, coordinated care for complex and multiple conditions.
Preventative health. Health checks, screening and lifestyle care to help you stay well, whatever your age.
Outside the clinic
I'm an avid multi-day hiker and photographer. Whether I'm behind a camera lens or a dermatoscope, I believe attention to detail matters.
